Spray Drying

The Spray Dryer is an equipment for the continuos automated dehydration of products in liquid solution, suspension or slurry form to obtain powders.

These products are atomized ( dispersed into million droplets ) and sprayed into hot air streams.

Spraying system and process parameters depend on the type of product to be treated and on the desired features of the powder.

The standard plant normally consists of a feeding and spray-drying group, a thermal group, a drying section, exhaust and recovering section, and a board for the automatic control.
