a) Granulometric curve required for the dryed product is less than 60-70 microns. b) Processed product is composed by thermosensitive substances. c) Processed product has high feeding viscosity.
Common products processed with disc spray dryer include dairy products like milk and whey, food products like egg and baby food and chemical product like tannin and blood.
